Lightweight ISOPLENUM
The soPlenum is a plenum manufactured from EPP (expanded polypropylene). EPP features a closed-cell structure, which prevents moisture absorption. The plenum weighs only 800 grams. Due to its low weight, the plenum does not require suspension from the building structure, resulting in significant savings on installation costs.Thanks to the specially designed tapered round shape and the stackable construction of the plenum, transport and storage costs can be reduced by approximately 80%. The plenum offers a high thermal insulation value of 0.040 W/(m·K). This insulation performance has been verified by an independent testing institute.
The connection between the grille faceplate and the IsoPlenum is made using high-quality, durable double-sided adhesive tape manufactured from E.P. (Ethylene Propylene).
